Steampunk Octopus for Portal 2010 Literary Magazine cover. I’m still pretty proud of this, and since I haven’t posted forever, thought this would be a good way to get back into it.I need to Art more.

Clearing through old files, found the line art by Gianluca Pagliarani for the variant cover to my 2008 graphic novella AETHERIC MECHANICS.

  7. Captain Nemo - The Fantastic Adventures of a Dark Genius, Kevin J. Anderson, 2011 reissue
(read the opening chapter here)
Funny thing about Kevin J. Anderson : I enjoy reading his blog - heck, I enjoy reading a lot of writers’ blogs - but I’ve never read any of his novels (*) and I don’t think I ever will. I don’t blame him for his productivity; I read too many pulpsters and paperback writers to do that. It’s just that his work doesn’t look very interesting to me. And there are so many books, and so little time.
Still, this book could be relevant to my interests. Although I’m not sure that KJA is quite able to deliver the goods.
(*) I did read JSA: Strange Adventures. It wasn’t good.
